We condensed our popular Level I-A and Level 1-B student books into this fast moving book especially for the older beginner student.  Most older beginners need to feel secure with their new piano-playing skills; so, we start at the beginning by first teaching them how to count rhythms correctly. Then we add keyboard geography and staff note reading. There are many “hands separately” compositions that thoroughly cover each concept. Your older beginners will not feel overwhelmed with this series!  A suggested 16 lesson teaching schedule is included at the front of each book.

We use large notes and staves on purpose in this series.  Even the adults learn much faster and with much more comprehension when the large notes imprint over a larger area of the brain during the learning process.
